Study: Married People Heal Better After Heart Surgery

Scientists studying 1,500 heart surgery patients found that those who were divorced or widowed were 40 percent more likely to either die or continue needing help with everyday tasks long after their surgery, as opposed to married people, who returned to a state of independence more quickly.
