FDA Delays Calorie Counts On Menus Until 2016

Though the rule was initially proposed last November, the FDA is extending its deadline for restaurants to begin printing calorie counts beside menu items, delaying the regulations until December 2016 in a move that could potentially allow more time for the measure to be lobbied against.
