Bible Will Not Become Tennessee’s State Book

A bill to classify the Bible as Tennessee’s state book was vetoed this week by Governor Bill Haslam on the grounds that it “trivialized the Bible to put it on the same level with the state bird and insect and so many other things we have.” What do you think?
